Young Scientist Awards - 500 Euro each

Two Young Scientist Awards have been established by the conference in co-operation with TUI Environmental Management and J. Bornhoeft Industriegeraete to be bestowed upon contributors of the best oral and poster presentation, respectively, at the ISRS European Meeting.

The Award nominees must be born in 1972 or later and must have given an outstanding oral or poster presentation at the conference.

The main selection criteria are a high scientific quality and relevance, and the general quality of presentation. The nominee must be first author if there is more than one author.

The Young Scientist Awards consist of a document as well as a monetary prize of € 500 for the best oral and poster presentation, respectively.

Meeting schedule changed

Please note that the scientific programme of the meeting has been extended to accomodate a maximum number of oral presentations.
The scientific programme will begin on Tuesday, 19.09.2006 at 09:30, and the last session of the meeting will finish on Friday, 22.09.2006 at 18:10, followed by a farewell party.
An updated programme will be posted on the website shortly.

We are processing the formal confirmation letters (=receipts) this week and will send them out shortly.

We received close to 300 submissions and the decision about oral or poster presentation and the distribution between the sessions takes quite a while.
The chairs and the Scientific Committee are in the process of further evaluating all submitted abstracts and we will inform participants about the outcome (oral/poster) by next week. The early registration fees will apply for those who submitted abstracts until mid of June.

Confirmation of acceptance and payment will be send out in due course.
